Many photographers view portrait photography as their bread and butter work, and it is sometimes taken for granted. I enjoy going beyond the basic mechanics and lighting and focus and really creating artistic images that convey feeling and personality. Even though portrait photos are usually
posed to some extent, I work hard to bring out the subject's "essence," whether they are an adult, children, or even pets! Every living thing has a collection of experiences, thoughts, and emotions that need to be brought to the surface in order to create a great portrait.
I take the time and make the effort to do just that. As with any of my work, when you hire me to take portraits, you will get amazing and timeless results, and you own all the images.
